Process servers are permitted to serve legal documents during weekdays on Monday thru Friday, including Saturdays. The time frame to serve documents are between the hours of 6:00 a.m and 10:00 p.m. They are not allowed to serve anyone on Sundays or religious holidays.
Process servers can serve the subpoenas in accordance with the state and local laws because they have the skills and experience needed to serve the legal documents.
A subpoena that requires the attendance of a witness to appear in any court can be served at any location within the State of New Jersey. The subpoena may be served by any individual 18 years or older and shall be made by delivery of a copy thereof to the individual named.
